Enterprise Data Management in ADP

One of your biggest challenges is to get to market as fast possible with new products, while properly mitigating risk. To help you move faster, ADP’s Enterprise Data Management tool quickly produces high quality investment data at scale.

Receive​

First, our EDM receives data from multiple sources via integration. Data are sourced from different vendors determined by our clients and are normalized using our integration service. Data are sent via batch processing and real-time. Any incoming data are validated for technical exceptions making sure that fields are in the correct format.

Enhance

Next, data are enhanced. It is ingested by the mastering engine, which aligns data from different vendors to create one record using the predefined gold copy preferences. Any suspicious records or exceptions are flagged to the centralized exception management UI. Custom classification ratings are applied, and data are enriched with user defined enrichment rules. Finally our AI tool enables faster and smarter anomaly detection.

Distribute

Now that true gold copy data has been created, they are ready for distribution and consumption. The pipeline achieves a high level of accuracy and data completeness, creating a clean, rich dataset, while maintaining integrity and preserving lineage. The data are distributed to the ADP data warehouse and the Charles River IMS, where they are consumed by end users.
